Shesham Wood (not to be confused with Acacia or other
inferior woods) in Jodhpur, India. Shesham is grown
in the northern part of India as a commercial crop
and takes 3-5 years to grow.
Our
manufacturer is a Janist and has a strong social
conscience. With profits from the furniture making,
the family has established a school in Jodhpur offering
free education. As well as being furniture manufacturers
the family is the largest education publisher in
India
