All of our Indian Furniture is hand made from high quality Shesham Wood (not to be confused with Acacia or other inferior woods) in Jodhpur, India. Shesham is grown in the northern part of India as a commercial crop and takes 3-5 years to grow. Our manufacturer is a Janist and has a strong social conscience. With profits from the furniture making, the family has established a school in Jodhpur offering free education. As well as being furniture manufacturers the family is the largest education publisher in India.
