Our unusual range of contemporary lighting is made in the village of Tegalalang in Central Bali.  Our lamps are made from fabric stretched over a wire frame and natural materials such as lidi grass, rattan and bamboo.  We buy direct from two separate families who specialise in designing and hand making these stunning lamps.   They are supplied fitted with fully tested electrical fittings assembled in the UK with a standard bayonet lampholder.  We recommend that you use a 40w bulb.    Our range of solid teak wood furniture is hand crafted in a village called Pundang which is 40 miles south of Yogyakarta in Central Java.  The family run business is situated in a factory next to a river in an idyllic location.  Sassak has been visiting Java for over 20 years - during which time we have built a very strong relationship with the producer of our teak furniture.  Together we have developed a unique range of functional, practical pieces which look good in any room.  The colour of our teak is light, almost honey coloured and is finished with layers of french polish, producing a nice satin effect.  All the furniture is made from sustainable, plantation wood which is kiln dried by our supplier.
